In its simplicity, Zen meditation reflects life itself. Just breathe in and out. Open your eyes, your ears, your heart. Let your mind rest. As your ideas fall away, each moment reveals itself fully. However, words can never adequately describe the Zen path. Zen means: discover your life for yourself. To understand Zen, you must try it for yourself.

If you're new to Zen or our community, we invite you to join us for an Introduction to Zen. If you're the type of person who likes to jump in with both feet, try one of our quick, weekly Guest Night orientations and then stay for our regular evening Group Meditation. We also offer longer Introduction to Zen Workshops every few weeks that will give you more detailed information. Either way, you'll learn the basics of Zen meditation and see how this simple, ancient practice can help you and those around you.

Please wear comfortable clothing such as T-shirts, loose-fitting long pants and socks. In cooler weather, you might also bring a sweater. Muted tones are preferred.

After you've attended an Introduction to Zen, we invite you to practice Zen with us at any of our regular Group Meditation practices. There is never a charge for regularly scheduled practice.
